The Spectrum Health/Michigan State University Emergency Medicine Residency is one of the oldest emergency residency programs in the United States. We follow a PGY one to three format, accepting ten residents annually. Our residents train at two primary locations: Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital and Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital.
